The National Lifeguard course is the last course in the Lifeguard stream required at pools across Canada. This course will ensure that candidates leave with a solid understanding of Lifeguard principles, communication techniques and develop solid judgement skills for emergency procedures. Candidates will focus on team-work skills throughout the course and learn how to adapt to different aquatic facilities. builds on the skills, knowledge and values taught in Lifesaving awards.
To participate in this program you need to have completed the Bronze Cross Award and Standard First Aid with CPR Level C & AED. The manual is included in the course fee.
This course requires 100% attendance and participation in order to complete the core component.
