Athletic Programs

The University of Lethbridge Pronghorn Athletic teams frequently offers extensive programming opportunities from introductory level to advance. Led by our varsity coaching staffs, players will be challenged to train mind and body as they develop their skills well beyond their current level of play. Through our perspective programs, players will work on their weaknesses and be trained to turn those weaknesses into strengths; both tactically and technically.

Track & Field

Run Jump Throw (RJT) is a national program developed by Athletics Canada that teaches fundamental movement skills and develops physical literacy. Our goal is to provide a physical activity program that serves as a strong foundation for all sports.

Run Jump Throw assists children ages 7-12 (born in 2011-2006) in learning to move efficiently so that they grow into adults who are active, productive and healthy citizens. Using track and field inspired games, activities and skill challenges lead by instructors specifically trained to teach the fundamentals of running, jumping, throwing that apply to all sports not just track and field.
