The University of Lethbridge Pronghorn Athletic teams frequently offers extensive programming opportunities from introductory level to advance. Led by our varsity coaching staffs, players will be challenged to train mind and body as they develop their skills well beyond their current level of play. Through our perspective programs, players will work on their weaknesses and be trained to turn those weaknesses into strengths; both tactically and technically.
Pronghorn Women's Basketball is once again proud to be offering women's basketball development programs in southern Alberta. Players will be taught techniques, skills and tactics that are in line with the curriculum put together by Alberta Basketball and Head Coach, Dave Waknuk. Athletes will also receive off court strength training with U of L Pronghorns Strength coaches.
The Pronghorn Women's Rugby team has a strong tradition of offering athlete devlopment opportunities in southern Alberta. Led by head coach Neil Langevin, the Pronghorn Women's Rugby program often competes within Rugby Alberta sanctioned events.
Horns Soccer Camps are intended for players beginning their soccer journey or looking to fine tune their soccer skills in a competitive environment. Our 5 – 8 year old camp focuses on developing basic skills in a fun and encouraging environment thru small sided games and activities. While our 9 – 14 year old camp focuses on mastering individual technical skills through individual and small sided games that will develop a player’s creative abilities and confidence with the ball.

The Pronghorn Track & Field program is proud to offer the Run Jump Throw (RJT) program. RJT is a national program developed by Athletics Canada that teaches fundamental movement skills and develops physical literacy. Our goal is to provide a physical activity program that serves as a strong foundation for all sports.
Run Jump Throw assists children ages 7-12 (born in 2011-2006) in learning to move efficiently so that they grow into adults who are active, productive and healthy citizens. Using track and field inspired games, activities and skill challenges lead by instructors specifically trained to teach the fundamentals of running, jumping, throwing that apply to all sports not just track and field.
